This Black SUB 70 JB v2 Forged wedge has been stripped of it’s exterior finish to experiment with revealing the raw black materials. The original gloss black paint has been replaced with striking metallic gold to contrast the raw black wedge head. A teal blue, black, and gold BB&F Co. ferrule provides an additonal jolt of character. A gold sight-line has been added to the first groove to aid in shot set-up. This wedge head will likley rust over time adding character as it ages. Once rusted, I will re-paint fill the head for the purchaser to compliment the updated finish.
Made from DT-4 Carbon Steel, the JB v2 Wedge offers exceptional feel and soft, responsive impact. The leading edge has been squared to initiate better visual alignment while the rear of the club has been more aggressively structured to provide improved flight control. The updated sole grind offers more versatile performance, from wet bunkers to dry bunkers or tight lies to long rough.
